This calculator uses the "B6 abbreviated tariff method" to process sample plot data. It outputs stand tariff number, average tree size, and volume per ha, along with graphical summaries.
The B6 tariff is a UK-specific method, involving the measuring of basal area plots, and application of pre-determined volume-basal area ratios (dependent on top height) to estimate volume.
