Site index calculator
This calculator uses dynamic models as derived by Manso et al (2020) to estimate site index for several major UK tree species from top height and age.
Site Index is a measure of forest site productivity comprising top height (the average height of dominant trees) at a reference age. ​​It provides a more statistically robust alternative to historic top height/age curves.
